Zoom Resources for Practitioners
It can be difficult as a provider to know where to start when switching from in-person care to virtual care. Hello SpeechWorks has over 35 years of combined experience providing services virtually through Telehealth and Zoom. Our clients and providers value to flexibility and consistency that virtual care offers. We believe it is important to share this experience with other providers.
One of our providers, Stephanie Harvey, completed a study on the impact virtual care has on the overall quality of services provided. She found that loss of quality in care was extremely limited when switching from in-person care to virtual care. Most of the loss in quality came from poor understanding on the platforms supporting virtual sessions. We have created some resources that both providers and clients can use to assist in ease of transition from in-person care to virtual care.
We know that using Zoom can be a new and confusing experience for some clients. We have created some simple instructional documents that can be used to assist clients in creating a Zoom profile, joining Zoom meetings and using the control buttons once they have accessed your Zoom meeting.
